Our inverter manufacturers offer the most technologically advanced
inverters available with a greater than 90% operating efficiency.
These inverters convert 12 volt or 24 volt DC Power into safe and
efficient 120 volt AC Power. We offer pure sine wave inverters as well
as modified sine wave inverters.
Pure
Sine Wave Inverters put out a signal that is similar to the signal
received from your utility company. These inverters put out a true
sine wave voltage with little distortion and are recommended to be
used with sensitive equipment such as medical devices, sophisticated
audio systems, remote measurement equipment, surveillance, telemetry
equipment, laser printers, equipment employing variable speed motors,
etc.
Modified Sine Waver Inverters are usually less expensive than Pure
Sine Wave Inverters. The reason is that modified sine wave inverters
put out a stair step waveform which is much easier and less expensive
to create. Modified Sine Wave inverters can run many standard
household appliances (e.g., refrigerators, microwaves, televisions,
radios, etc.).
Our inverters offer the following advantages:
- High Efficiency
- Soft Start-Up
- Overload Protection
- Low Battery Alarm
- Over Temperature
Protection
- Battery High Shutdown
(auto recovery)
- Short Circuit Protection
- Reverse Polarity
Protection
All of our
Inverters are factory new and not refurbished and we guarantee
the performance of our inverters with a no hassle 1 year replacement
warranty for manufacturer related defects. |

Our
inverters can be used to run RV appliances and accessories, large
boat/cruiser appliances and accessories, as well as provide back-up
power to operate freezers, power tools (circular saws, etc.), shop
tools, battery chargers, TV's, microwaves, refrigerators, large sound
systems, sump pumps, work lights, etc. where utility company power is
temporarily lost or where there is no utility power available at all.
The first step in
selecting what size inverter you need is to determine what you want to
operate. You need to include all items (lights, TV’s,
refrigerators, radios, power tools, etc.). Different appliances
consume different amounts of power (watts) and this consumption figure
is usually stamped on the appliance. For example if you wish to
operate two 75 watt light bulbs, you will be consuming 150 watts.
If you wish to operate a TV and run your refrigerator at the same
time, refrigerators consume 500 to 900 watts depending on their size.
Also, TV’s consume an average of 75 to 200 watts depending on their
size. Let’s say your refrigerator consumes 650 watts and your TV
consumes 125 watts. Your total power consumption is the sum of
the lights, refrigerator, and TV or a total 925 watts.
Therefore, you will need at least a 1000 watt inverter.
Actually, you might want to purchase a 1500 or 2000 watt inverter.
This gives you the ability to run additional appliances, power tools,
coffee makers, etc. Note: some appliance manufacturers provide
the amount of energy their appliance consumes in amperes instead of
watts. In this case, you can simply determine the amount of
watts by multiplying the number of amperes by 120. For example,
if your refrigerator manufacturer shows the average power consumption
to be 5 amperes, multiplying that by 120 gives you 600 watts as
the average energy consumption for your refrigerator.
